Jordan and Dominic are two dedicated participants in our Grow Your Own program, where they have taken three college-level courses to explore careers in education. Today, they had the opportunity to present two dynamic engagement strategies to our high school teachers:
β¨ Hand Up, Pair Up, Share β A fun, interactive activity where students high-five a partner, discuss a question, and then rotate to a new partner to continue the conversation.
βοΈ Round Robin β A group activity where students form a circle and take turns answering a prompt, ensuring everyone has a chance to contribute.
Weβre excited to see how theyβre applying their learning and inspiring future educators! π
A huge shoutout to CPI and their employees for making a very generous donation to our food Backpack Program. This donation will help us continue to serve our students grades K-12 with easy meals for the weekends.

Personal Finance students are learning all about budgets.
Today they "moved in" to an apartment with roommates. They had to decide how all of their bills were getting paid--how much from each roommate and who was making sure the money got to the right place.
