Senior Parents:
π You have a chance to honor your senior with a personal ad in the 2025-2026 yearbook. This is an opportunity for you to offer simple congratulations. The message can be sentimental, funny, poetic, or philosophical. We ask you to include a baby or childhood picture with your ad (these will be returned to you next spring or next fall). This can either be mailed with the message and payment, or you can email it to mschuster@superiorwildcats.org. π
π The smallest your ad will be is 2β x 4β, but if the yearbook staff does not have one from everybody, the ad could be larger. The price of these ads is $25.00 to be paid in advance. Checks should be made to Superior Public Schools. Please mail your payment, picture, and special message to: Superior High School, ATTN: Journalism Department, 601 W. 8th Street, Superior, NE 68978. π

πΊπ₯πΆ On Monday, the 4th and 5th graders had the amazing opportunity to attend the Young People's Concert put on by the Lincoln Symphony at the UNL Lied Center. The musicians and host of the event featured the instruments of the orchestra , different classical pieces, moments for movement and singing, and a first-time experience for the majority of the students. We even ended the day by stopping for some ice cream at the Dairy Store on UNL's campus. π¦ It was a fantastic day engaging music in a new way!! π»πΌβ¨

Mrs. Barry's Freshman English, we dove into Narrative Writing with a spotlight on SETTING! Students rotated through four creative stationsβTime, Place, Mood, and Sensory Detailsβworking together to stretch their imaginations and build vivid worlds. After exploring each element, students drew a surprise mood from our βmood bucketβ and combined all four components to craft a rich, detailed setting paragraph of their own. It was wonderful to see them collaborate, share ideas, and bring their stories to life through thoughtful description. Their creativity certainly filled our classroom t
