Many student heard about the space shuttle launch today at school! They want to WATCH it! So the launch is supposed to happen at 6:24 ET, so that means 5:24 here! There is a 2 hour window for launch, so it might not happen right at that time!

🎳The annual Staff v. Students game was held on Monday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Superior Bowl.

We officially kicked off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge at Superior Elementary!
Our students learned a few ways to keep your heart healthy:
🏃♂️ Movement – Getting those hearts pumping!
✨ Kindness – Strengthening our hearts by helping others.
💤 Rest – Giving our bodies the time they need to recharge.
🍏 Healthy Eating – Fueling up with the good stuff.
The most exciting part? We’re learning how to be real-life heroes with Hands-Only CPR. Our goal is to get as many families as possible signed up to learn this lifesaving skill. You never know when you might be the one to save a life!

We all love seeing the sun come out, but don’t let those morning rays fool you! Spring in our neck of the woods is a bit of a weather rollercoaster. 🎢
While it might feel like t-shirt weather by dismissal, our students head out for morning recess when the grass is still dewy and the air still has a winter bite.
🧥 The "Recess Ready" Checklist:
Layer Up: Think of your student like an onion! A light jacket or hoodie over a t-shirt is the best way to handle a 20-degree temperature jump.
Pants are Still King: The ground is often cold and damp in the mornings. Pants or leggings keep them comfortable while they’re climbing and playing.
Check the Hourly: A quick glance at the "Feels Like" temp for 9:00 AM is usually a better guide for dressing than the daily high.

Ava Erpelding, Myia Edwards, and Ellie Karnatz are the first middle school students on record from Superior to be selected for this honor band.
