π Letβs give a big cheer for our amazing April Students of the Month:
2nd Grade-James Souchek-James is a student who thinks deeply about what he is learning. He asks great questions to complete his understanding. He works hard to follow classroom and school expectations. James is a great friend to all and I always know I can count on him to crack a joke or make a funny comment :) James has a crafty way of lighting up a room and making his classmates smile. Iβm excited to see the difference James makes in the world!
2nd Grade-Berkley Thompson-Berkley works hard to follow classroom and school expectations! She is a great friend to her peers, offering a listening ear and kind smile! Berkley pushes herself and is always excited to grow! Way to go, Berkley!

Jenny builds strong connections with her students through care, kindness, and a great sense of humor. β€οΈ Creating a positive and welcoming environment is at the heart of everything she does.
She believes that an engaging learning environment is keyβnot just for growth, but also as a way to support and guide students every day. π
In the classroom, Jenny uses her βME or WEβ reading strategy to empower students. Whether they choose to read independently or together, it helps build confidence and removes pressure while keeping learning fun and inclusive. π
What she loves most is helping students feel comfortable, capable, and excited to learn.
Fun fact: Jenny has held a lobstering license in Florida! π¦
