Jordan and Dominic are two dedicated participants in our Grow Your Own program, where they have taken three college-level courses to explore careers in education. Today, they had the opportunity to present two dynamic engagement strategies to our high school teachers: ✨ Hand Up, Pair Up, Share – A fun, interactive activity where students high-five a partner, discuss a question, and then rotate to a new partner to continue the conversation. ⭕️ Round Robin – A group activity where students form a circle and take turns answering a prompt, ensuring everyone has a chance to contribute. We’re excited to see how they’re applying their learning and inspiring future educators! 🌟

Personal Finance students are learning all about budgets. Today they "moved in" to an apartment with roommates. They had to decide how all of their bills were getting paid--how much from each roommate and who was making sure the money got to the right place.

Kindergartners and 1st Graders have been talking a lot about dynamics in music, or as we learned: how loud or how soft the music is. ♬ˎˊ˗

We first started off by reading a story called "Forte Moves to Town". 📖 Then, we practiced these different dynamics with singing games, new songs, movement activities, matching them to our dynamic animals, and illustrating new signs like Mrs. Jackson's for the hallway. 🌟🖍
