π±Today, Mr. John Mic visited our SPS Plant Science, Agronomy, Landscape, and Precision Agriculture classes to discuss the results from the soil testing we did last fall. Students dove into analyzing nutrient levels, pH, and Cation Exchange Capacity, exploring how these factors impact crop yields this growing season. πΎ
The highlight? Students applied their findings to create personalized fertilizer recommendations, putting their knowledge into practice! π‘

π Recess Ready: Dressing for the Weather! π
Parents, itβs important to keep our kiddos comfortable and safe during outdoor recess. Most classes have both a morning and afternoon recess. Hereβs a quick reminder for what to wear based on the temperature:
π’ Above 60Β°F: Dress as you please! Let your child pick whatβs comfy for the day.
π‘ Below 60Β°F: Grab a jacket or sweatshirt, and make sure their legs are covered with pants or leggings.
π Below 50Β°F: Itβs coat weather! Add a hat or hood to keep them warm.
π΄ Below 40Β°F: Time for a winter coat! Be sure to bundle up with gloves, hats, and scarves to stay cozy.
Remember, kids are more active outside during recess, so theyβll need enough warmth to stay comfortable while playing. πββοΈβοΈβοΈ
