Superior Ag Education is lucky to have such great partners! Nutrien Ag and Ross Porter continue thier assistance to our program by developing pre emergent applications for our field needs, continuing with post applications based on student led observations, our field continues toward success at harvest. If you have field chemical application needs, Ross Porter and Nutrien Ag are second to none when it comes to knowledge and capability.
🏰 On Tuesday, Mrs. Schuster spent time at three forts, Fort Defiance, Fort Donelson, and Fort Pillow; Defiance and Donelson were situated along major rivers leading to the Mississippi River. The Union needed to capture the Mississippi River to help win the Civil War. 🏞️

🇺🇸 Mrs. Schuster is in Tennessee and Mississippi this week with teachers from all over the United States.
On Monday, she toured the Civil War battlefields of Stones River and Franklin, all sites close to Nashville. She saw an original building shot up from bullets, slave quarters, and the Carter House and the Carnton Plantation, all structures that were part of the Union's fight to take Franklin, Tennessee. 🇺🇸
💣She also saw a park ranger demonstrate how to fire a cannon and a Confederate cemetery.💣

Summer weights will run June 1 – July 30
📅 Monday–Thursday
⏰ 6:00–8:00 a.m.
✅ ALL High School Athletes are encouraged to attend!
✅ Middle school athletes (incoming 7th–8th graders) are welcome!
Middle school participants should plan to arrive at 7:00 a.m.
📱 Athletes will use the Volt Athletics app on their phones. Assistance with setup will be provided prior to the start of summer weights.
📲 Please bring your device each day. A limited number of iPads will be available if needed.
💪 Most workouts will last approximately 45 minutes, depending on the number of athletes in the weight room.

●Superior wrestling had a great two days of camp with Coach Weidner 💪
■Day 1 - traveled to Doniphan Trumbull and went over basic fundamentals. 🤼♂️
○ Day 2 - stayed in Superior and learned new technique and what it takes to be a great person, on and off the mat. 💯
Thank you to all the wrestlers who showed up to get better and learn! Also thank you to Landon Weidner for spending his weekend on the mat to teach our team about what it takes to get better. 🙌

This summer Superior Social Studies teacher, Nelsen Petersen is traveling through the Balkans - beginning with a 2-day stop in Istanbul (not Constantinople!!). Istanbul is one of the most historically significant cities in the world. It's also where Mr. Petersen's 6th grade Social Studies ends and his 9th grade World History class begins. (Pics: outside the Blue Mosque. The Obelisk to Emperor Theodosius- and cat)
Next was 3-days of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina - another city of Historic importance: The site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand-triggering the start of WWI, the 1984 Winter Olympics and the Yugoslavian wars of the mid-1990s. Next stop: The Croatian coast, Montenegro villas and Greece! Stay tuned!
