Elementary students had lots of fun in art on friday with HEARTS! β€οΈ They mixed paint, used puff paint, created positive and negative space, learned warm and cool colors, andcreated optical illusions! It was definitely a FULL day of fun!








π¨ Printmaking Fun in Art Class! πΌοΈ This past week, our 8th grade and high school students got to try out printmaking, a cool art process where you carve a design, ink it up, and press it onto paper to make prints! They used Lino Cutters to carve into special blocks, then experimented with print block ink in different colors to bring their designs to life. Everyone got to create whatever design they wanted, and the results were awesome! Also in the photosβyouβll see the 8th gradeβs finished Grid Drawings! Super proud of all their hard work!

Congratulations to Senior Thomas Mathis on being the Congressional Nominee Recipient for the United Stated Air Force Academy!

Rayne Biltoft and Dylan Edwards were selected for the inaugural "Patriots of the Plains Honor Band". The selected high school band students rehearsed and performed with the musicians of the 43rd Army Band of the Nebraska National Guard. It was a memorable experience for sure and we congratulate Rayne and Dylan for being chosen.
