✨ Mirror Etching Magic! ✨ Our middle and high school art students just wrapped up an awesome mirror etching project! They used a relief printmaking technique, cutting away the tape to create their designs before etching the mirrors with etching creamβ€”some even tried sandblasting for extra texture! Every mirror turned out completely unique, and it was so cool to see all the different designs come to life. Amazing job, everyone! πŸŽ¨πŸ™Œ

Over 50 of our middle school and high school music students and parents attend the Omaha Symphony's presentation of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl". The movie was played on a screen above the stage while the soundtrack was performed live by the symphony orchestra- a one of a kind movie experience for sure!

The 5tn graders started Read Across America Week with lots of fun activities. Rayne, from NHS, read to the class. Each student enjoyed reading a book of their choice, practiced their reading fluency and read and wrote three facts about their assigned Nebraska counties. They located the counties on their Nebraska map. Retired teacher, Bev Beavers, shared pictures that she took of all 93 courthouses in Nebraska. The students enjoyed birthday treats, sang Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss, Mrs. Roach and her twin brother Jeff 😍 then ended the day learning how to play Yahtzee! What a great day! Keep Reading Wildcats! πŸ“šβ€οΈ
