Some of the 8th graders in Mrs. Schuster's American History 8 class handled and evaluated WWII items sent to the class by the WWII Museum in New Orleans through a program called Operation Footlocker. Items included a 1944 yearbook, a wooden toy, coins, V-mail, advertisements, a license plate, and war ration and saving bond books. During the activity, the students had to figure out what the item was and then consider its use during the time period. All students had to wear latex gloves while handling the artifacts.

Our kindergarteners traveled back in time last week! As part of our unit on colonial trades and towns, they rolled up their sleeves to make homemade bread and butter. History sure is tasty!🍞🧈
‼️Attention 9-12 Parents‼️
On Wednesday, April 23rd, we will take 9-12 students into the community to assist with city-wide cleanup. This community service project will be from 1:15 – 3:30 p.m. We will be picking up both city parks and Fourth Street Square.
The City of Superior will provide students with trash bags, latex gloves, and some rakes. However, your child is welcome to bring work gloves and garden rakes if possible. If so, please ensure your name is written on the rake in permanent marker.
Ideal Market will provide water and snacks for the students during that time.

1A spent the day trying to solve the Bunny Farm Mystery. They completed challenges to find clues to eliminate which bunny stole the eggs from the basket. At the end they solved the mystery and were rewarded with eggs of their own!

A game to take a break before our big program? That calls for musical twister!
Join High School Choir and Band Monday night for their Spring Concert in the High School Gym! The two ensembles will perform their District Contest pieces as well as others they have rehearsed second semester. District Music Solos and Small groups will be performing Wednesday, April 23rd at 7pm in the Music Room.
PALLS Preschool enjoyed celebrating the Week of the Young Child! 🎶Music Monday was celebrated by listening to their favorite songs. 🍓Tasty Tuesday was extra yummy with fruit pizza cookies! 🚮Work Together Wednesday included a nature walk to pick up trash. ☺️Thankful Thursday was filled with thankful thoughts. Everyday is a good day to celebrate young children and their education!🥳
