⚾ FFA Kickball Tournament Recap! 🥇
On June 27th, the Superior FFA Chapter had an awesome turnout with 7 teams showing up ready to play and compete! After a day full of great sportsmanship and fun, Sandy Bottoms came out on top and took home the victory! 👏💪

You don't have to travel far from Superior to learn new things. Mrs. Schuster spend five days in Red Cloud studying Willa Cather and her literary works, particularly My Antonia. 📚 While attending the Willa Cather Teacher Institute in Red Cloud, she stayed in the Cather Second Home. 🏠 She had the opportunity to tour the Willa Cather Center's archives, see buildings related to My Antonia or to Cather's life through town and country tours, and visit the Homestead National Historical Park in Beatrice to listen to a presentation about women homesteaders. She also ate lunch at the new Garber Hotel.

What a way to spend a part of your summer vacation. 🌞 Mrs. Schuster spent June 13-18 on the campus of Gettysburg College studying the Civil War and touring the Gettysburg battlefield. She saw the Spangler and McPherson farms, locations of field hospitals during and after the battle. On an evening tour, she was able to view the Devil's Den from the top of Little Round Top and Gettysburg National Cemetery. She also listened to a discussion about Robert E. Lee and a lecture about using artifacts in the classroom. On the last night, she climbed to the top of the observation tower on Culp's Hill and saw wheat fields.

The Dance Teams first annual Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser was a success! Congrats to the Jones team for taking first and winning a t-shirt!! Thank you to all who supported! 🏓🐾 #pickleball #danceteam #schoolpride
