She is happy, energetic, and a good listener. Mutinta tries her best at any task and works hard to follow CATS expectations. We are excited that she is part of our preschool classroom this year. Keep that positive attitude, Mutinta! PALLS-Tyler Henley-Tyler comes to school with a big smile everyday. He is eager to learn and share what he knows. He works hard and participates in all preschool activities and is a good friend to all. Very proud of you, Tyler, keep up the good work!

Elementary students enjoyed a new fruit this week rambutan! They looked a little scary, but overall a good rating from the students!

The 5th grade students finished their Poetry unit in ELA. To celebrate all their hard work, they did a Poetry Cafe today!

After their Poetry Cafe, the 5th graders enjoyed hot chocolate and candy canes!

This past week, our art students immersed themselves in the world of Andy Warhol and the dynamic Pop Art movement. Through an exploration of bold colors and iconic imagery, students gained insight into what makes Pop Art so distinctive. They then applied these concepts to create their own unique masterpieces, inspired by Warhol’s innovative style. Additionally, we have individual artwork as well, highlighting the remarkable talent and dedication of our students. Their creativity continues to impress and inspire!

Third Grade had a great day spending time with friends making a trail mix recipe linked to the first Thanksgiving. Sometimes we can spread kindness just by sitting and talking and enjoying each other. What a great FRIENDSGIVING we had!

4th grade finished up Unit 2 where they learned what it was like to be someone in The Middle Ages. We celebrated by creating our own rose window, acting out scenes and even playing games outside that related to The Middle Ages.

🦃 Thanksgiving Break Reminder 🍂 Superior Public Schools will be on Thanksgiving Break starting Wednesday, November 27th. Classes will resume on Monday, December 2nd. Wishing our students, families, and staff a wonderful holiday! Enjoy the break, and we’ll see everyone back in December!

Cross Country field trip to the Living History Farms Cross Country Race in Des Moines, Iowa - November 9, 2024. Deylin, Gabe and Ethan traveled to Des Moines, IA for the 5-mile event held at the Living History Farm Museum. The course was muddy and included three (3) river crossings! The boys ran very well! Of the 575 participants, Gabe finished 54th, Deylin at 103rd and Ethan at 250th! Along the way we stopped at several historical sites!

This is an opportunity for you to offer simple congratulations to a senior. The message can be sentimental, funny, poetic, or philosophical. We ask you to include a baby or childhood picture with your ad (these will be returned to you next spring or next fall). This can either be mailed with the message and payment, or you can email it to me at mschuster@superiorwildcats.org. The smallest your ad will be is 2” x 4”, but if we do not have one from everybody, your ad could be larger. The price of these ads is $25.00 to be paid in advance.
