π¨β¨ Happy Holidays from Superior Art Class! β¨π¨
Our talented art students have been working hard creating their holiday pointillism masterpieces! Pointillism is a technique where small dots of color are applied to create a complete image. Think of it as a painting with tiny, colorful confetti! π
Each student chose their own subject for their artwork, allowing for a variety of festive and creative designs. From snowy scenes to holiday symbols, their imagination truly shines through! π

4th grade celebrated the end of their poetry unit by enjoying some hot chocolate while listening to others read their poems they created.

π¨ This week in the art room, students explored the element of art, Line, and used their new knowledge to create their own Zentangle artwork! ποΈ
Zentangle art is a fun and creative process that involves drawing intricate patterns and designs to create beautiful and meditative artwork, often in a structured format. These designs can be as simple or as complex as the artist desires, making it an accessible art form for everyone.
Our students got creative by using various mediums such as markers, colored pencils, fine-tip pens, and even paint to add their own personal touches to their Zentangle designs. It's amazing to see how such a simple element like Line can be transformed into stunning, unique works of art!
Check out some of the incredible pieces theyβve been working on! β¨
