Mrs. Roach’s homeroom class had a Google meet with Jeff Huffman their Ag Pen PAL from Maxwell, Nebraska. The students wrote letters to Jeff in December. Today they introduced themselves and learned about his farming operation, his family, and his partnership with Frito Lay. Island Farms raised 260,000 bushels of corn this past year. That’s a lot of Doritos. The students asked questions and did a great job of listening during this event. #neagfoundation #agintheclassroom

☃️ First kindergarten worked on sequencing a story on how to build a snowman, then they put their snowman building skills to work, and finally we had the most perfect snowmen made with love and lots of teamwork! ☃️
