Kindergarten-Danley Kile- Danley is doing a great job following all the expectations since entering Kindergarten. She is always a hard worker no matter what the task or how challenging it is. She has a positive attitude towards learning and towards all of her friends. We love to see her bubbly smile everyday when she walks in the door. Keep working hard everyday Danley!

Third Grade learned all about the spine! They used twizzlers, gummy life savers and noodles! They made all of the parts of the spinal column and realized how easy it is to harm your spinal cord! They also enjoyed realizing how squishy the cartilage really is! We also enjoyed a few treats along the way.

A big week in 5th grade band— our beginning band students just finished the Superior Beginning Band book this week! 🎉 Back in August they were learning how to put all the pieces of their instrument together and hold it correctly, and now they’re confidently playing full 5‑note songs. Their growth, focus, and teamwork have been incredible to watch. 🎺🥁🎵

Seven of our middle school singers joined students from 13 other schools to rehearse for the day at the Crete Middle School Honor Choir! Students gave an impressive concert performance after their long day of work on five different songs. Congratulations to these musicians for taking part in this special opportunity! 🎶

🌟 Inventure Day 2025! 🌟
Our 7th graders spent the day putting their creativity and teamwork to the test at this year’s Inventure Day, hosted by the Nuckolls and Thayer County Extension Offices!

Students from Superior teamed up with peers from surrounding communities and worked alongside local business mentors to create and market innovative products in a Shark Tank-style challenge.

👏 Congratulations to our Superior students in the Judges’ Pick group: Avaleigh Isaacson and Carson Kutay, and to our Fan Favorite winners: Emersyn McAlister and Chen Flaata!

Our Superior JH Lady Wildcats are ready to hit the court for the 2025 season! 🐾🔥

Here’s the schedule — mark your calendars and come out to support the girls all season long! 🙌

💳 Our Personal Finance students are putting their money skills to the test! They completed a scavenger hunt to explore how to read and understand credit card statements — learning to spot key details like interest rates, fees, and payment info. Hands-on learning for real-world financial success! 💰

Senior Internship students tested their skills with spaghetti, masking tape, and yarn to see who could build the tallest structure with the marshmallow at the top.

To come out on top the students had to use their creative problem solving skills and collaborate.

Mr. Petersen, while he’s overseas in Romania, is conducting a Zoom session with his sixth graders. This incredible experience allows these children to hear firsthand about the events happening in the world.
