New Staff Spotlight: Ms. Cailyn Barry
We’re excited to welcome Cailyn Barry to our team!
Cailyn is especially looking forward to building strong connections with her students and watching them grow and succeed both in and out of the classroom. She’s excited to reconnect with some familiar faces from her student teaching experience in 4th and 5th grade, and to continue making a positive impact.
A lifelong Superior resident, Cailyn graduated from Superior High School in 2022. She began her college journey at Hastings College before transferring to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. During her time away, she gained a deeper appreciation for her hometown and the many teachers, coaches, and community members who shaped her. That realization inspired her to return and give back to the same community that gave so much to her.
Outside the classroom, Cailyn enjoys reading, traveling, baking, cheering on Husker football and volleyball, and spending time with friends and family.
Cailyn is excited to be back in Superior and is passionate about creating a supportive, welcoming environment for her students. She is committed to making her classroom a safe place where every student feels valued, included, and knows they belong.
