JUNIOR LAW CADET PROGRAM, sponsored by the Nebraska American Legion and the Nebraska State Patrol, provides an opportunity to encourage youthful leaders to learn about the role of law enforcement officers in the preservation of law and order, and in providing the service, security, and protection required for the public welfare. The 2026 program, conducted at the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Center in Grand Island, will be held June 22-23 for boys and June 24-25 for girls. Students in grade 11 are invited to attend. Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by FEBRUARY 25.
