NROTC

This scholarship is available for students wanting to join the United States Marine Corps.  The scholarship has a total value of $180,000.  Applicant must score a minimum of 22 on ACT or minimum of 74 on ASVAB; be a United States Citizen or Green card holder; be at least 17 years of age and on track to graduate high school; and be in good physical condition.  Interested applications should visit the website.  If you have questions, please visit with Mrs. Baker.

WAYNE STATE COLLEGE 
This scholarship is available to a graduating senior who has enrolled at Wayne State College.  After being accepted, the applicant must complete an online scholarship application .  A copy of your online application is due to Mrs. Baker by NOVEMBER 21.  PLEASE NOTE that this scholarship has a priority deadline of December 1, 2025 and a final deadline of May 1, 2026.

CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE GRADUATING SENIOR 
Completing this application and fulfilling all the requirements will allow students to be considered for scholarships offered by the CCC Foundation, as well as those offered by each of the three main campuses.  As part of the application process, applicant must complete the FAFSA.  For instructions on completing the FAFSA, please visit the Financial Aid and Scholarships page.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by FEBRUARY 25. 

COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB

NUCKOLLS COUNTY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS 
The Nuckolls County Foundation, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Nebraska, will make scholarship grants as follows.  Please mark which scholarships you are applying for.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by FEBRUARY 27.

WILLIAM "BILL" HILL MEMORIAL 
This $1,000 scholarship is available to a graduating senior from Superior High School.  Applicant must be a member of the Superior FFA Chapter and be in good standing and plan to pursue a post-secondary education at either a two-year or four-year educational institution or vocational/technical school.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 3. 

VADEN MAXWELL MEMORIAL WRESTLING

ROY EQUALL SUPERIOR CHAPTER FFA   
This scholarship will be awarded to a senior who is planning to major in an agricultural-related field of study.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 3. 

BOB KEIFER 
This $500.00 scholarship is for a Superior High School senior FFA member planning to pursue an agricultural course of study.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 3. 

JASON POOLE MEMORIAL 
This $500.00 scholarship is for a Superior High School senior who is a member in good standing of the Superior FFA Chapter and plans to pursue an agricultural course of study at a vocational/technical school, junior college, or a four-year college/university.  The recipient will be selected on the basis of need and a strong work ethic.  Applications  are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 3.

This scholarship is for one male and one female Superior High School senior with a minimum 85% gpa.   Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 6. 

CHAPTER DS P.E.O.   
This $250.00 scholarship is for female students graduating from Superior High School.  Applications  are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 6.

SYDNEY LOOFE 
This $4,000.00 scholarship is for a high school graduating senior having a 3.0 GPA or higher with plans to attend an institution of higher learning.  Please visit the website for more details and requirements.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 6.

GUIDE ROCK CORNERSTONE BANK 
This $1000.00 scholarship will be awarded to a Superior graduate planning to pursue a college education.  Online applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 9. 

LINCOLN COMMUNITY FOUNDATION 
This scholarship opportunity is for high school seniors planning to pursue a higher education.  All applications will require a current transcript, FAFSA submission summary that includes your SAI. Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 9.

BURT & BECKY WHEDON MEMORIAL 
This $1,620 scholarship is available to a high school senior residing in Nebraska and is a U.S. Citizen.  Applicant must plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 9.

THREE-RIVERS CHAPTER OF WHITETAILS UNLIMITED 
The Three-Rivers Chapter of Whitetails Unlimited is offering a scholarship up to $1,000 to 2026 graduates from the local area.  Applicant should have a connection to nature, wildlife, and the outdoors.  Applications can be found at https://forms.gle/PkyGJevXmXRadXh99.  A copy of your google application is due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 9.

CENTRAL NEBRASKA AUTO CLUB 
This $1,000 scholarship is available to a Nebraska High School Senior who is a Nebraska resident and American Citizen.  Applicant needs to be interested in auto-related study and attend a Nebraska college.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 12. 

SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY COLLEGE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION 
This scholarship is available for seniors who have demonstrated classroom performance that would indicate potential success at SCC.  Applicants must complete an on-line scholarship application.  A copy of your on-line application is due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 12. 

COOPERATIVE PRODUCERS, INC. 
This program includes $1000 scholarship opportunities for high school seniors of both CPI patrons and employees.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 13. 

CLASS OF 1965 
This $2,000 scholarship is available to a high school senior graduating from Superior High School.  Applicant must plan to pursue a post-secondary education at either a two-year or four-year institution, or a vocational/technical school.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 16.

SUPERIOR PUBLIC SCHOOL FOUNDATION 
The Superior Public School Foundation will make a scholarship grant to an individual who graduates from Superior High School.  Applications for the following scholarships are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25.

This scholarship is available to Superior graduates who have a minimum 85% gpa, and have been involved in school and community activities.

This scholarship is for a senior who plans to major in Agriculture or Education. 

SUE E. ROSE 
Two $3,000 scholarships are for current Superior High School seniors or an earlier graduate of Superior High School who is entering their first semester of post-secondary education at an accredited school of higher education.  Preference is for students planning to further schooling in education although other applicants will be considered.  

EVELYN BRODSTONE HEALTHCARE CAREER GRANT 
A $1,000.00 scholarship is being offered to a Nuckolls County resident or graduate planning to pursue a career in the health care field.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25.

SANDRA BOTHWELL LEGACY 
This scholarship is available to a high school senior pursuing a career in the health care industry.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25.

VIRGINIA LEWIS LEGACY 
This $1,000 scholarship is available to a high school senior pursuing a career in the health care industry.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25. 

SANDY NELSON MEMORIAL 
This $500 - $1,000 scholarship is available to a senior at Superior High School.  Applicant must be a member of the Superior FFA Chapter in good standing who plans to attend either a two-year or four-year educational institution or a vocational / technical school.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25. 

SUPERIOR RED CAPS BOOSTER 
Four scholarships will be given to seniors who have been involved in high school athletics or dance.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25.

NEBRASKA COACHES ASSOCIATION 
This scholarship is for a student who ranks in the upper 25% of his/her class or 3.75 cumulative GPA, has participated in at least two sports for two years, earned a varsity letter in two sports and is a son or daughter of NCA active coaching member.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25. 

NEBRASKA FUR HARVESTERS HIGHER EDUCATION 
This $400 scholarship is for a high school senior who hopes to become involved in a career that is related to wildlife management, and furbearer management in particular.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25. 

LOWER REPUBLICAN NATURAL RESOURCES DISTRICT 
Three $2,000.00 scholarships are available to first, second, and third-year students planning to major in a natural resources-related field, or agricultural field.  Recipients may attend college of their choice, but priority will be given to those attending a Nebraska college or university.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 25. 

JOHNNY BAXTER CARRIAGE HOUSE FOUNDATION 
This $2,000 scholarship is available to a high school senior planning to attend a Nebraska Community College enrolling in automotive related courses of study.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MARCH 27. 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL #7714 
This scholarship is for students who belong to Nelson Sacred Heart or Superior Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.  Additional requirements are listed on the application.   Applications  are due to Mrs. Baker by APRIL 8. 

GLENWOOD TELEPHONE 
This $1,000 scholarship is available to a high school senior enrolled in a two or four year college, or technical/trade program of study and whose parent/guardian is a recipient of GTMC telephone service.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by APRIL 8. 

KURT ALLEN MEMORIAL 
This $500 scholarship is available to a high school senior enrolled in a two or four year college/university, junior college, or technical/trade program of study and whose parent/guardian is a recipient of GTMC telephone service.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by APRIL 8. 

HASTINGS AREA RETIRED SCHOOL PERSONNEL 
A $600.00 scholarship is available to a high school senior pursuing a degree in education.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by APRIL 10. 

LESLIE A. AND HELEN R. WILSON MEMORIAL 
This scholarship is available to a Webster County resident attending a local high school and is in the upper one-third of their class.  Applicant must enroll in a two- or four-year course of study in an agricultural or secondary educational pursuit.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by APRIL 13.

JIM HURLBERT MEMORIAL BASEBALL 
This $500 scholarship is available to a graduating senior or player in their last year of eligibility.  Applicant must attend a post-secondary educational institution within the State of Nebraska and have a GPA in upper 50 percent of their class.  Applications are due to Mrs. Baker by MAY 13.
